Sharp, who was born in Rochester, New York in 1962, was a clarinet player along with cellos, pianos, and clarinets at Hochstein School of Music. Sharp received a award for The Boston Conservatory for her love of school theatre. Cum Laude, where she was awarded the B.F.A. Sharp's first focus was the stage. She appeared in her first performance in the Broadway National Tour of Carousel. Other theatrical shows include Abyssinia, Aida, Thunder Knockin', Jitney, The Producers, Big Street, Suburb and Joe Turner's Come and Gone, in which Sharp was a co-reader with playwright August Wilson himself. Apart from her roles both on stage and the screen, Sharp has several other unique projects she has written or co-written. She sings as often as she can, and has a full-length album that is in development. Sharp is an avid fitness fan who enjoys boxing and study Krav Maga. When not being in front or behind of the camera, or capturing music in a studio, she enjoys long journeys, playing piano, and taking hikes. Sharp lives in Los Angeles, California with her family.
