Alex Flanagan

She was a graduate of The University of Arizona, and Salpointe Catholic High School. Flanagan is an anchor/reporter on NFL Network and NBC Sports as well as a sideline journalist in Football Night in America and the home matches of Notre Dame football. Flanagan appears during the Madden 10 or Madden 11 video games. She hosts the weekly game recap show alongside Fran Charles. Alex hails from Sonoita in Arizona. She's married to the former University of Arizona basketball player Kevin Flanagan. The couple have two daughters and one son. Alex's parents are the owners of Arizona steakhouses "The Steak Out", which is located in Sonoita along with Dove Mountain. Flanagan began her career at KVOA-TV as a student and news anchor. In 1998 she started covering sports. She has worked with NBC Sports NFL Network ESPN and Fox Sports. In addition, she was a member of the Gamma Phi Beta sorority.
