
Christina Applegate, born November 25, 1971, is an American actress. As a child actress , she was recognized for playing the character as Kelly Bundy on Fox's sitcom Married... with Children (1987-1997). Applegate made a name for herself in the television and film career in her adulthood, earning a Primetime Emmy Award from seven nominations, as well as nominations for four Golden Globe Awards and a Tony Award. Applegate was the lead actress in the title role in the NBC sitcom Jesse (1998-1900), earning her a nomination for the Golden Globe Award. For her performance as an guest on the NBC sitcom Friends and Friends, she was honored with a Primetime Emmy Award. She was nominated by the Tony Award for Best Actress In a Musical for her role in Sweet Charity (2005). Applegate then went on to play in the ABC sitcom Samantha Who? She was later seen in ABC's sitcom Samantha Who (2007-2009) and for which she received two Primetime Emmy Awards , as well as the Golden Globe Award; the NBC sitcom Up All Night (2012); and the Netflix drama series Dead to Me (2019-2022) where she was nominated for three Primetime Emmy Award nominations.
